Sainsbury’s in March has donated the store’s Christmas tree to a house for homeless young people in Wisbech.
Store staff agreed to donate the tree to Staithe House in Wisbech for young people between the ages of 16-21.
Michelle Connolly, of Sainsbury’s, said: “They do a wonderful job for these kids.”
Two full time staff work on-site at Staithe House daily and staff offer support around a range of issues, including independent living skills, including budgeting, access to training, help with family relationships and substance misuse problems.
