Sainsbury’s in March has helped raise nearly £800 for a national cancer charity.

The store helped Marie Curie Cancer Care by raising £797.58 for their charity research.

The funds will help continue their work and support for those with a terminal illness.

Marie Curie came into the Sainsbury’s store during January and February to sell their daffodils to customers and colleagues.

Store manager Graeme Speke said: “I’m thrilled that we able to raise this amount alongside Marie Curie Cancer Care, as this is a charity close to my heart.

“We hope and plan to continue to work with Marie Curie in the future.”
