A teacher is taking part in a 80-mile cycle ride to raise money for charity.
Stuart Walker, of Southwell Close, March, and several of his colleagues at Huntingdon Regional College will pedal from the college in California Road, Huntingdon, to Hearing Dogs for Deaf People’s headquarters in Saunderton, Buckinghamshire, on May 16.
To help them prepare for the ride, Mr Walker and colleagues Andrew Brett and Dean Constant held an all-day cycle on exercise bikes on April 4, raising more than £200.
Hearing Dogs for Deaf People is a national charity that provides dogs to alert deaf people to important sounds and reduce the isolation of deafness.
