A March council worker in her 50s collapsed earlier today and required care from a Magpas team.
The incident, which happened at around 12.43pm, saw doctors Andy Lindsay and Ali Hieatt, and paramedic Jo Lambert arrive in March via a rapid response vehicle to treat a woman who had collapsed.
The Magpas team assessed and anaesthetised her at the scene, giving the woman A&E level care.
They accompanied her by land ambulance to Addenbrooke’s Hospital where she was in a stable but critical condition.
An EEAST paramedic crew was also in attendance.
