A MARCH youngster completed his first parachute jump from 3,500 feet with flying colours.
Corporal Daniel Lowe from 1220 (March) Air Training Corps was one of 72 students to pass the one-day course at RAF Weston-on-the-Green before taking the leap of faith.
Mr Lowe said: “That has got to be the most amazing thing I have ever done, the best experience of my life so far.”
CPL Lowe spent 6 hours training on the ground before taking to the skies. After the jump was completed the team also held a party to toast their achievements.
Mr Lowe added: “I was the first jumper out of my group but I wasn’t worried I was confident.
“I applied to do this course as I have a strong interest in joining the RAF in the future.”
