Seven-year-old Marcus Neve’s dream came true when he got to walk out with his heroes at the home of Newcastle United.
The Kingsfield Primary School pupil was a mascot for the Magpies’ match against Aston Villa. He walked out on to the pitch with defender Mike Williamson.
He said: “I got lots of high fives when I came off the pitch and went back into the tunnel and I got to keep the football kit they gave me.
“I had a fantastic day and I was really glad that Newcastle won 1-0.”
