Three mask-wearing men entered a service station in Wansford during the early hours of this morning and threatened staff before stealing cash and leaving.

It is believed the three men, described as white, two between 5’ 4” and 5’ 8” and the other about 6’ 2”, left in a red Vauxhall, possibly a Zafira, with a cash machine in the back.

Police attended the robbery at the Heron Service Station in Leicester Road at 4.20am today.

A police spokesman said: “Thankfully no one was injured during the incident, however the member of staff has been left very shaken by what happened.

“I would urge anyone who may know who is responsible for this to contact police immediately.”

Anyone with information should contact police on 101, or call Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
