DEVOTED mothers from Fenland are celebrating after they were awarded certificates for completing a positive parenting course.
Mayor of March, Councillor Andrew Pugh, handed the awards to a group of parents during a presentation at Ormiston Children’s Centre on Wednesday.
The parents had all successfully completed a special course run by Sue Pooley and Karen Brown, parent support advisors from the March and Chatteris Locality Team.
The course focused on positive parenting, with advice on issues such as discipline, communication, improving relationships within the family and helping to prevent anti-social behaviour in the community.
