MARRIED to Jane, Chris has lived in and around Wisbech most of his life.
They have lived in Gorefield for the past 24 years and are both members of the Gorefield Conservative Committee; his wife as secretary and himself as vice-chairman.
Chris has a career span of 35 years in media publishing with the Cambridgeshire Times Group and EMAP PLC. He formed Chris Seaton Associates Ltd, a marketing and advertising consultancy in 2001 and retired in 2008.
He was elected to represent the Roman Bank Ward in May 2007. He served on the Overview and Scrutiny Committee from 2008 to February 2009.
Chris joined the Cabinet as portfolio holder for Community Regeneration in March 2009, later that year also being appointed portfolio holder for Open for Business.
