DAVID was elected onto Wisbech Town Council in 2003 and Fenland District Council in 2007 representing Peckover Ward. Currently he holds the position of Leader of Wisbech Town Council taking an active part in the Council’s day-to-day activities. He also serves on many committees within both Councils.

Outside the council he is Chairman of WisARD (regeneration group) and he also serves on the Peckover Estate Advisory Committee.

David is married with two children and has lived in Wisbech since 1986, twenty years of which have been within this ward. He is Chairman of Governors at Peckover School and the Fundraising/PTA Committee.

He takes an active role in the school and is well known because of this. Currently David’s business, which he runs with his wife, has been trading for 29 years, 24 years of which have been here in Wisbech.

He is committed to improving the prosperity and economic regeneration of Wisbech through both the Town and District Councils.

He is also involved in improving the safety and wellbeing of Wisbech residents and business community, through various initiatives and groups working to reduce crime and disorder, as well as promoting the town when and wherever possible. He is fully supportive of various groups throughout the town.

With the variety of interests David has within the town it shows his commitment to Wisbech and he pledges to continue this, both at Town level and District level if you give him your vote.
