DAVID Wheeler is one of two Conservative candidates for the Waterlees ward.

DAVID is an electromechanical engineer who ran his own business before he retired. He lives in the ward and is married to Sue, who he met after coming to Wisbech 27 years ago.
He was elected in 2007 and has worked hard for Wisbech. David serves on many different bodies, including the Oasis Trust and the Board of Roddons Housing Association and recently he led the team to improve educational attainment in Fenland.
David was one of the main drivers in setting up the Community Forum so he is very aware of the issues in Waterlees.
He is always willing to get out and talk to people in the ward to try and address their problems - the football pitch and the improved play area in Lime Avenue are prime examples.
He has proved over the last four years he has the tenacity to keep the pressure up until he gets results.
David always supports those who stand up for themselves as he believes they are the real champions of the Waterlees community.
