MARK Plumb stands in the Medworth Ward in the Fenland District Council election.

Mark is 44 years old, married with two children and lives on the Medworth Ward.

He is site convenor for Unite the Union at Premier Foods and believes passionately in Trade Unionism and local politics, both of which rely solely on listening to, and delivering for, people. It is something which he considers has not happened over the last four years with a Conservative administration.

He considers the issue of Wisbech Market Place is an example of local people not being listened to. He says that the public have a number of times requested of our local councillors that the Market Place is properly pedestrianised, however time and time again have those views been ignored.

Mark said: “If you want to make a difference to the success of local government then please vote for me on May 5.”
