NICHOLAS Poole will stand in Elm and Christchurch Ward for Fenland District Council.

Nicholas is 22 years old and recently graduated from university with a degree in History. He lives in Guyhirn and works in Peterborough.

He would like to be able to make a contribution in the future of the Fenland people, especially the younger generation.

Nicholas said: “The rise in tuition fees and cutting of the Education Maintenance Allowance means that many students in the Fenland area will not be able to go to university. They will leave school with little or no experience and more than likely add to the 2,400 people currently unemployed.

“A vote for me is a vote against those who failed to keep their promise.”
