ROBERT Pinnock is an Independent candidate for a seat on Fenland District Council in the Elm and Christchurch Ward.
“IT looks as though democracy (in the chamber) might be coming to Fenland - at long last - and that the Conservatives will have a real opposition. My one wish is to be elected so that I could help oversee the transition.
“I have often said that party politics have no place at district and parish level; now is the time for change in Fenland.
“A high turnout will help to ensure that the “career” politicians at Fenland Hall are ousted in favour of people who want to bring prosperity to our little bit of north Cambridgeshire - long forgotten by all especially Mr Melton and Co.”
