RAY has lived and worked in Wisbech all his life. He started his working life as a carpenter at Patricks Joinery and ran his own business before he retired. He has always thought of Wisbech as the ‘Capital of the Fens’ and is proud to represent the Waterlees Ward. Ray and his family lived in Waterlees for sixteen years where he still has many friends.
Ray has been married to Jean for 40 years and they have 3 children: Sharon, Sarah and Claire, and 2 grandsons. His hobbies include riding his Triumph motorbike and visiting motorcycle shows across the country.
He has been a member of the local Conservative Club for the last 30 years and has been both Vice Chairman and Chairman.
Ray serves on the Roddons Housing Association Board, the Licensing Committee and the Overview and Scrutiny Panel at Fenland District Council.
He has really enjoyed helping his constituents with their problems over the last 4 years and he looks forward to the next 4 years - with your help.
