Members get into the Christmas spirit at Chatteris charity lunch

MEMBERS were treated to a glass of sherry and an afternoon of festive fun at Come and Be Heard’s Christmas lunch.

The 28 diners enjoyed a traditional Christmas meal and carol singing session and Ernie Cave sang old favourites.

There was a raffle of seasonal goods and each member left with a gift.

The Chatteris charity has been running for 11 years and puts on monthly meetings and occasional trips for people with hearing impairments.

Their next meeting will be on January 25 and will include a speaker who is a costumier from Covent Garden.
