MENCAP is preparing to launch a new arts and crafts group in March for adults with learning disabilities.
The UK’s leading learning disability charity already runs successful groups elsewhere in Cambridgeshire - but they will hold their first session in March on November 4, for those aged over 18.
Vanessa Droy, from Mencap, said: “The group will include drama, arts and crafts, sewing, photography and much more.
“There will also be a chance to perform at a theatre in Cambridge next year.”
The first group will be a free taster session from 10am-3pm at the March Mencap office, in High Street. The group will then run every Friday.
