ON Good Friday a meditation service at St James Methodist Church was led by Sue Askew. Main readers were Roger and Sue Dack and Pauline and Graham Beeken. Musicians were Pauline Beeken (organ), Roger Dack (guitar) and Elaine Middleton (clarinet). On Easte

ON Good Friday a meditation service at St James Methodist Church was led by Sue Askew. Main readers were Roger and Sue Dack and Pauline and Graham Beeken. Musicians were Pauline Beeken (organ), Roger Dack (guitar) and Elaine Middleton (clarinet). On Easter Saturday a concert was organised by the Rev Den Hague. Isobel and Abigail Peters sang solos. Isobel also performed a dance. Musicians were Elaine Middleton and Alan Akred (clarinets), Anne Akred (saxophone), Roger Dack (guitar), Graham Beeken (euphomium), Joan Thompson (piano), Pauline Beeken (organ) and Paul Buloss (drums). Hot Cross buns and tea and coffee were served. On Easter Sunday the morning worship, led by the Rev Jackie Goddard, included an Easter egg hunt. There was also three tables set up with craft items to make for Easter. After the service tea and coffee was served to members. On Sunday evening a Songs of Praise was led by the Rev Hague. Everyone received Easter eggs. After the service tea was served by members.
