THE chapel had been decorated with autumn flowers, etc for the harvest festival weekend. On Saturday, the chapel was open all day for coffee and refreshments, served by Eurig Jones and Carol Gore. The stall-holders were cakes and preserves Treasure Jones and Gladys Cross; vegetables June Kelleher, bric-a-brac Mollie Rollins; raffle for a hamper donated by Michael and Sophie (village stores) and Ralph Gore. On Sunday afternoon, a large congregation attended the harvest service, conducted by Rev Andrew Haig who is Chaplain to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. The Bible readings were given by Treasure Jones and June Kelleher and the soloist was Eurig Jones. The steward was George Rollins and the collection amounted to £62.

On Monday evening, the sale of gifts was held with John Balls being the auctioneer.

The proceeds from the weekend were for chapel funds.
