Sue Elam spoke to members about the running of the Chatteris Town in Bloom scheme. Appropriately she was presented with a flowering plant in thanks. The meeting was led by Joy Parker and a number of notices given out of dates of various services and events including those at the Mothering Sunday service at 10.30am in the parish church when intending members of the Mother's Union can be officially installed; a Lady Day service in Ely Cathedral on Saturday March 4 and the Women's World Day of Prayer at 10am on Friday, March 2 at the Chatteris Salvation Army citadel. Sylvia Constable was well enough once again to run the bring-and-buy stall at the meeting and the afternoon concluded with tea and biscuits.
