A man who died in a collision on the A142 near Mepal this morning has been named by police.
Richard David Duxbury, 35, of Tree Way in Chatteris died after the motorcycle he was riding collided with a van at 7.20am.
No-one else was injured in the collision but police closed the road for several hours following the incident.
The road is now reopened in both directions, and anyone who witnessed the collision is asked to contact the road policing unit on 101, quoting incident 71 of June 8.
