POLICE in Whittlesey are appealing for witnesses to a collision in the town on Friday.

It happened at about 11.55pm on Stonald Road, close to Irving Burgess Close, when a red car and a pedestrian were in collision.

The pedestrian, a 18-year-old man from Whittlesey, suffered minor injuries.

The driver of the red car, with a registration number believed to start 'J8', failed to stop after the collision.
