A motorist was left seriously injured after a collision between a van and motorcycle in Wimblington this morning.

Whilst dealing with the collision, a dog managed to escape from a garden in Wimblington. He was rescued by officers and returned to his owner.Whilst dealing with the collision, a dog managed to escape from a garden in Wimblington. He was rescued by officers and returned to his owner.

Police were called to the incident by the ambulance service at around 10am.

It is thought that the injured person was conscious and breathing. However it it believed that they may have suffered a broken wrist.
