A NEW website - www.chatterisphoenix.org - which promotes the town and surrounding villages has been developed by Chatteris Phoenix.

The website hopes to fill a gap by providing a range of local information and offers an opportunity for local groups and organisations to showcase their activities.

Brian Foster, chairman of Chatteris Phoenix, said "Chatteris is often neglected and this is reflected by the lack of a really useful town website.

"This omission has now been corrected and local residents, groups and organisations are encouraged to make full use of this facility".

In addition to local information, the website includes a link to an on-line picture gallery showing local landmarks.

Chatteris Phoenix is a voluntary, community-based, town regeneration group working as part of the national Action for Market Towns Initiative.

Details of your group's activities should be sent to contact@chatterisphoenix.org
