A Fenland based food manufacturer has made big strides over the past year to become more environmentally friendly.
Moy Park, which has a site in Wisbech, reduced water and energy usage and cut Co2 emissions by 3,600 tonnes, which is comparable to taking 1,000 cars off the road for a year, in 2013.
The company has improved its water recovery, enhanced its recycling initiatives, upgraded its refrigeration systems and introduced a thermal heat recovery initiative.
