Life in the fast food lane stepped up a pace when North East Cambs MP Steve Barclay served a customer at the Wisbech branch.
The restaurant employs 85 people locally and plans to hire an additional 20 staff in the next six months – having already taken on 15 this year.
“It is great that companies like McDonald’s understand the need to provide proper staff training and career progression opportunities,” Mr Barclay said.
He added he was pleased to learn about the company’s strong recycling policy including recycling the chip oil, which is used to make bio-diesel to help fuel lorries serving McDonald’s restaurants across the UK.
