Historic England have described the find as an ‘extraordinary time capsule of the period life of our prehistoric ancestors.

Mr Barclay said: “It was a pleasure to bring the Minister to Must Farm, to view for himself the fantastic finds in Whittlesey. It is an amazing historic discovery and I am very proud to have the greatest Bronze Age discovery in Europe in our constituency. It is not every day you get to see a house that is 3,000 years old!”
