A young mum – and her three children including a baby- escaped after their family car ended up in a water filled ditch on Tuesday evening.
The mother is badly bruised and needed treatment but her children all escaped injury.
She later posted on Facebook: “Thank you to so many people today from strangers to family. I and my girls are now home safe; I came off the worst thank God!”
She added: “I definitely have three brave strong little girls.”
Today she wrote: “Thanks for everyone’s messages; the girls are full of beans this morning and feeling OK. I’m glad they came out of it with only a little bruise each. “Me on the other hand will be in hiding for a while till I heal up will keep you all posted and thank you.”
Police and a recovery vehicle attended the scene in Whittlesey Road, March.
The mother’s blue Peugeot car ended up in a water-filled ditch just outside Potash Farm.
