Orchestras, choirs and bands were given a standing ovation at a concert in memory of a teacher, described on the event programme as "a modest man, a massive talent".
St Peter's Church, March, was overflowing on Saturday evening for the musical celebration by the Friends of Paul Caller.
The former head of music at the town's Neale-Wade Community College died in January after a long illness.
Students and staff, past and present, performed at the concert. There were also guest performances by a jazz ensemble from Jack Hunt School ,in Peterborough, a brass quintet and swing band from Wisbech Grammar School, and London-based group Storey, made up of former March men Aaron Storey, Liam Storey and Ryan Lemmon, who were all mentored by Mr Caller.
The concert was signed off with a standing ovation at the end of the last piece, Charles Hubert Parry's I was Glad When They Said Unto Me, performed by Neale-Wade's orchestra and choir.
Gordon Thorpe, assistant principal of Neale-Wade, said: "It was brilliant. The items were very professionally presented and very entertaining."
All proceeds will go towards the Paul Caller appeal, set up to support students studying music at the school.
