I wonder whether you are aware of the current proposal to put a solar farm on an area of 23 acres off Begdale Road, Elm?
The proposed plan is by Belectric Solar Ltd from Buckinghamshire and it intends to submit the planning application this summer.
My house overlooks this site, so you could say that I am not happy about it at all.
In fact, I am going to do my best to fight this and drum up support from the local population to oppose these plans.
It will be an eyesore and will certainly not blend in with this area, which is basically just fields and horses.
This is going to shatter our dreams of living somewhere with only fields around us. Instead we may have to face a very bleak future with absurd looking panels stuck in field and unable to sell our house because, let’s face it, who would want to look at that?
