A band formed of students, staff and guest musicians will perform at Neale-Wade Academy on Saturday in aid of Help for Heroes.
It will be the fifth time the college’s music department has teamed up with The Hereward Concert Band for an annual concert to raise funds for the armed forces charity.
The concert has been arranged by music teacher Ceri Griffin and band leader Alan Norris.
The band will play music from stage and screen including highlights from Oklahoma and Chicago and classics such as the William Tell Overture, Holst’s Suite in E flat and Berlioz’s March to the Scaffold.
The concert takes place in the main hall at Neale-Wade Academy on September 13, 7.30pm start. Tickets cost £5 for adults, £3 for students/children.
