Neale-Wade Academy will be very well represented at the Race for Life event at Ferry Meadows on July 7.
More than 35 students and staff from the academy, aged 11 to 51, are taking part, each with their own reasons for raising money for Cancer Research UK.
It is the fifth straight year the academy has entered a team for the event. Typically, they raise more than £1,000.
Dews coaches of Somersham have donated a coach and driver to take the team there and back.
And, the day after the event, runners are invited to wear pink in school.
