A team of Neale-Wade Academy girls laced up their running shoes to raise hundreds of pounds for Cancer Research UK.
In total 38 girls, ranging from Year 7 to Year 12, took part in the Race for Life at Ferry Meadows in Peterborough.
Despite the rain the whole team completed the race and have so far raised £449 of their £1,000 target.
Dews Coaches of Somersham donated a coach and driver to transport the team to the event.
Donations can still be made via www.justgiving.com/neale-wade-academy
