Glamour and glitz came to Elme Hall Hotel when Neale-Wade Academy’s Year 11 students turned out in style for their end of school prom.

A mix of classic and sporty cars along with limousines brought the young people to the event to enjoy an evening of music and dancing to celebrate the official end to their school year.

The ritual coming of age event saw proud parents pack the driveway of the Wisbech hotel to watch their youngsters head off for an evening of fun at the annual red carpet event.

Hilary Ludlow, pastoral assistant at the March secondary school, said: “It is the third year the event has been held at Elme Hall. It went very well, everyone said how much they enjoyed it.”

About 180 students enjoyed the evening, organised by the school’s pastoral care team.
