A new head girl has been appointed at Thomas Clarkson Academy.
Hannah Loughlin is in Year 12 and is studying biology, chemistry, maths and geography at A Level and was head girl of Pankhurst Community in Year 11.
Hannah, who is hoping to study zoology at university, will join existing head boy Akshay Kishor who will remain in his role for another year.
Akshay is studying maths, biology, physics and chemistry at A Level and plans to study medicine at university.
Sally Wilcher, head of Student Voice, said: “Akshay has had such a strong leadership of the junior leadership team this year. We felt his expertise was so useful to take into the following year and train the deputy head boy and girl.”
