The home will provide a family environment for two young people aged from eight to 18.

Viv Merryweather, manager, said: “It is a two bed home which will be open by mid July.

“It is a long term setting. We have spent six months getting it ready to provide a family environment.

“The new home will create nine jobs and there are currently vacancies for support workers.

“We also provide a moving on service to young people to continue supporting them as long as they need us.

“We are looking for people who want to make a difference to the lives of young people.”

Anybody interested in applying should visit the BREAK website. Training is given.

Break has been supporting children, young people and families since 1968.
