This was stated by Lt-Col R P C Bagnell, County Civil Defence Officer for the Isle of Ely, speaking at a meeting at Guyhirn on Tuesday.

* FOLLOWING their highly successful fashion show last April, Wisbech Young Conservatives, in liaison with Armstrong's House of Fashion, will this year be holding an Easter fashion parade, but this time with a difference.

A number of local girls will be chosen to model the collection. An interesting innovation will be the appearance of two little girls presenting two petite ensembles from their own department which will be opened in the spring.

It will also be the first public show since Miss Vera Wilson became fashion buyer.

The men, who will transport the Prime Minister Kralahome, are all over six feet tall. One is 6ft 4in, another 6ft 2in, and two are 6ft 1in.

As a result of the appeal in this newspaper for tall men, two more have become interested in the production and will be playing the part of deck hands.
