OCTAVIA View’s caf opened its doors to the public this morning as part of this week’s Wisbech Rose Fair.
The caf, in the courtyard of Luminus Ferry Project’s Octavia View in South Brink, Wisbech, will be open until Saturday as part of the special event.
Octavia’s caf will be offering cream teams, cakes, scones and other tempting treats in the Grade II listed surroundings. A craft fair will also be held including a number of different stalls and a cake stall - with goods being cooked and donated by Luminus staff. Money raised from the sales will be given to women’s cancer charities.
Chan Abraham, chairman of the Ferry Project, said: “At Luminus we aim to change the world where we are and encourage others to do the same.
“The Rose Fair has given clients and staff on the Ferry Project the chance to volunteer their time and their skills to benefit the Wisbech community.”
