CHILDREN at a local primary school were given the chance to sample the thrill of live theatre - thanks to a donation from Norwich and Peterborough Building Society.
Roger High, headteacher at New Road Primary School, Whittlesey, contacted his local branch to see if staff could help with a donation towards the cost of a trip for the entire school to a pantomime.
Julie Smith, manager at N&P's Whittlesey branch, offered to make a contribution for a bus to take all of the children to the Cresset Theatre, Peterborough, to see Jack and the Beanstalk.
