THREE men have been arrested on suspicion of stealing diesel from the Waterworks in Stuntney.
Police were called to reports of people acting suspiciously at the site in Soham Road at 11.40pm on Wednesday night (June 20).
Officers attended but the offenders made off on foot. Three men were later arrested nearby on suspicion of theft of diesel.
A 36-year-old man, from Wisbech, a 40-year-old man, from Harlow, and a 53-year-old man, from Ely, are currently in custody at Parkside Police Station.
