Skylark Maize Maze – this year shaped as a 500ft Minion - is holding its annual straw bale Olympics this bank holiday weekend.
The event will feature five rounds, including bale rolling, hurdles, javelin (how far a contestant can throw a bale), running (how far a contestant can run with a bale) and weight lifting (how long a contestant can lift a bale).
The Fenland Olympic style games will ‘test the strength and determination of the most dedicated countryside athletes’.
Visitors can compete or just spectate and cheer on the competitors.
There will also be a category for children aged between 12 and 16.
Edward Gowler, of Skylark Maize Maze, said: “It’s surprising how many disciplines a straw bale can be used for!
“We’ll be looking for competitors to join in the fun and have a go at the events.”
The Straw Bale Olympics will take place every afternoon starting at 11am on Saturday 29, Sunday 30 and Monday 31 August at Skylark Maize Maze.
Admission is £9 for adults, children and seniors £8 and children aged under three go free.
