Open door sessions at Montessori nursery in Long Sutton

A FENLAND nursery that was judged outstanding by Ofsted last year is opening its doors to visitors next week.

The Phoenix Montessori Nursery at Long Sutton is welcoming guests on Monday morning from 9.15am to 11.30am, and on Wednesday afternoon, from 1.15pm to 3.30pm.

Principal Clare Harris said: “During National Parents’ Week in October, we invited our parents in to see what the children do in a Montessori nursery and to see for themselves how we give our children a flying start in life. Many parents took up the offer and the feedback was very positive.’

At the open sessions, visitors can meet the staff and take a tour of the premises at the United Reformed Church in London Road. Clare added: “Of course, we shall particularly welcome potential parents, but others who would just like to pop in and have a look round are very welcome too.”
