A March garden featuring 50 bonsai trees, Koi carp and a host of statues and water features is to open its doors to the public this weekend.
The gardens at Beaver Lodge will be accessible to the public from 11am until 4pm this Saturday (19) and Sunday (20).
The outdoor space is home to dozens of Japanese trees, acea, a Mediterranean garden and statues which help to create a “calm and peaceful scene,” according to owner, Maria Bom.
She said: “We have been opening our garden for the last five years for the NGS to raise funds for cancer charities.”
Entrance is £3 and children are free. Refreshments and cakes are available.

Bonsai is a Japanese art form using trees grown in containers.
