An outdoor World’s Biggest Coffee Morning at VIP Hair in Walsoken raised £2,120.16 for MacMillan Cancer Support.
The fund raising event was held outside the salon because the stylists were busy working inside. The weather was kind and with help from volunteer salon clients and friends, the morning was a great success.
Salon owner Linda Pepper said: “We have to thank so many people for donating wonderful cakes, preserves, flowers, plants, handicrafts, produce and raffle prizes.
“Because so many people come into the salon, we are able to start raising funds about six weeks before the day, as so many people wanted to join in with this amazing cause.”
