CONCERNS have been raised about overgrown brambles and vegetation which are blocking a Fenland walkway.
Former Liberal Democrat Fenland District Council candidate Stephen Court, who missed out on election to March Town Council in February by three votes, says pedestrians are being forced to walk on the road because of the state of Norwood Road, March.
He said: “On September 19 the Cantonese Kitchen on Norwood Road will be used as a polling station and the bridge will be busier than usual.
“I have contacted Fenland District Council about this and am waiting for them to do something about the state of the vegetation.
“There is no footpath on that bridge so it’s already a high risk to pedestrians trying to cross the bridge.”
