MP Steve Barclay is accustomed to a bit of verbal sparring in the House of Commons – but stepped into the boxing ring for some more physical action when he met a young March boxer recently.
The NE Cambs MP visited March ABC to meet up with 17-year-old Regan Lazenby, who has recently had trials for the national team.
Steve said: “After a quick spar with the middleweight boxer, Regan informed me of his long-term goal to represent England at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics and I look forward to watching him box on my TV screen in three years’ time.”
