A PARAMEDIC is set to appear before a disciplinary panel for acting inappropriately with a colleague
Kevin Hamlyn, a paramedic with the East of England Ambulance Trust, will answer several allegations of misconduct.
It is alleged he attended a Christmas party for staff at Peterborough Ambulance Station on December 9, 2010, and acted inappropriately in that he cut off his pubic hair and placed it on a colleague’s plate.
It is also alleged he spat and threw food, engaged in a conversation of a sexual nature with a colleague and made sexual gestures towards guests.
The fitness to practise hearing is due to start in front of the conduct and competence committee at the Health and Care Professions Council in London on Wednesday June 12.
