CHRISTMAS celebrations continued at St Peter's with a crib service, conducted by the Rev Sheila Tooke who told the Christmas story to the children, who then presented the figures to the crib.
The midnight candle-lit service, which attracted a packed congregation, was conducted by lay reader Stephen Tooke.
Earlier in the month many people toured the village singing carols. At the conclusion the carol singers were served refreshments by Mr and Mrs Bellamy. This traditional event raised £228.37 for church funds.
