THE first part of the Parish Council meeting, held in the Community Centre, was the annual rent collection. The chairman, Councillor Barrie Dodd, reported on the state of the old school in Church Lane. PC Julie Coales told members there were no major issues to report. An estimatee had been received for providing a new street light at the end of Hannath Road and it was agreed to go ahead with the project. Concern was shown over the state of the roads in the parish as they are getting in a very bad state. Allotment rents wdere reviewed and it was agreed to increase them. The Community Centre lights are on at all hours and a new lighting system is to be installed if possible.
