A PARKINSON’S sufferer donated the proceeds of a sponsored back wax – more than �800 – to the charity at the latest meeting of its March and District branch.
Tony Sceal, of March, who had his back and chest waxed in August, donated �430 to Parkinson’s UK and �433 to the March and district branch at its meeting on Wednesday.
Mr Sceal said: “My wife Jeannie and I would like to thank all my family, friends, ex-colleagues at Fenland District Council, St John’s Church parishioners and the Parkinson’s support group for generously sponsoring.”
March Short Mat Bowls Club also presented �534 to the branch at its meeting on Wednesday and Parkinson’s sufferer Warwick Hardaker donated �100.
